- You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to process large volumes of data efficiently
- You will be responsible for optimizing our current data architectures to support data integration, storage and retrieval
- Manage Azure-based infrastructure to support data engineering needs and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance
- Design, develop, and maintain 'Infrastructure as Code' scripts using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform etc.
- Work closely with data analysts and other business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide data solutions
- Implementing data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of the data will be part of your responsibilities
- Implement monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of cloud infrastructure and data pipelines
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards through automated checks and policies
- You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation of data engineering processes, architectures and workflows is also part of your responsibilities
Who we are looking forward to
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data engineering or a related field

You have at least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data warehousing, ETL processes, and related fields - You have a high technical and digital affinity, and have good experience in SQL, Python, ETL tools, cloud platforms (Azure) and data warehousing solutions

You have strong problem solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - You are a team player who works enthusiastic about your work, open-minded and responsible
- You are fluent in English. German is a plus
