About the role
This Sales Manager will lead the sales team in Thailand, focusing on EPCs, investors, and installers across residential, C&I, and utility segments. The role involves driving sales performance, setting strategy, and working closely with operations and marketing to grow the business.
 
The position is based in Thailand and requires a strong local market presence. Candidates should be located in Thailand. Some domestic travel may be required.
 

What You Will Do

  • Manage the sales team in Thailand, covering residential, C&I, and utility-scale solar sales.
  • Take the lead in team planning, target setting, and sales strategy development.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensur sales support for demand planning, order planning, logistics, and warehouse management.
  • Provide market feedback and support marketing activities to promote the brand and products, aiming to increase sales in the market.
  • Understand customer requirements and collaborate with suppliers to drive sales in Thailand.
  • Improve market share by increasing sales accounts and developing strong client relationships.
  • Continuously improve sales revenue in Thailand and contribute to trade and distribution margins for the local entity.
  • Manage pre- and post-sales requirements of clients throughout the entire project life cycle.
  • Stay informed about industry news, trends, products, services, and competitors, and report regularly to the regional office.
  • Handle customer purchases from both online and offline channels.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably in industrial products or renewable energy-related businesses.
  • Experience at the management level.
  • Must have experience in sales and knowledge of the solar business/industry.
  • Strong understanding and market knowledge of the Thai solar market.
  • Strong market acumen with a well-established network in Thailand’s solar industry.
  • Customer-centric and motivated to drive sales and contribute to overall company performance.
  • Possesses strong systematic and analytical thinking, with a customer service mindset.
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic and high-performance environment.
  • Active and service-oriented personality; knowledge of digitalization is a plus
