About the role
The Sales Engineer will manage the general customer segment, with a focus on installers and EPCs. This role involves identifying new solar project opportunities in the residential and commercial sectors, building strong relationships, and providing end-to-end project support - from the initial engagement through to final delivery. The Sales Engineer will also be responsible for delivering excellent service and representing the company’s solutions with professionalism and technical confidence.
This position is based at our office in Bangkok, Thailand.
What You Will Do
- Monitor and follow up on project and order progress; from solution pitching, price offering, and deal closure through to final customer delivery.
- Drive sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
- Deliver compelling pre-sales presentations to prospective customers, highlighting key product features and value propositions.
- Provide initial post-sales support and coordinate with the engineering team for technical follow-up.
- Gather and report market insights to keep the immediate supervisor informed of competitor activity, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
- Communicate effectively to resolve sales-related or customer issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective solutions.
- Partner with internal departments to brainstorm ideas, contribute input, and share initiatives that support business growth.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a sales engineering role; experience in the solar industry is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to coordinate order fulfillment processes and collaborate effectively across functions and departments.
