BayWa r.e. Solar Systems SLU is a leading PV wholesale business, responsible for Spain and Portugal. Internationally, BayWa r.e.’s PV wholesale business operates in Europe, North and Central America as well as the APAC region. In the Iberian market, we carry a wide range of high-quality products in our portfolio, have strategic global framework agreements with most leading brands and have a proprietary mounting system (novotegra) and design tool solution (Solar Planit).

We're hiring a mid-level NetSuite Developer skilled in NetSuite and JavaScript to handle customizations across all ERP modules, including fields, forms, and web store features. This role suits a balanced profile—experienced enough for independent delivery but not at senior rates—for versatile system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

SuiteScript & System Customization

Develop, enhance, and maintain SuiteScript 1.0 / 2.x scripts (User Events, Client Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce, RESTlets).
Create and manage custom fields, records, forms, and UI enhancements across multiple ERP modules.
Build practical solutions focused on stability, scalability, and ease of maintenance.

Saved Searches & Reporting

Design and optimize saved searches for operational reporting, KPIs, data extraction, and automation triggers.

REST API & Integrations

Build and maintain RESTlets, SuiteTalk integrations, and custom API endpoints for syncing data with external systems.
Ensure secure, efficient, and well‑documented data flows.

ERP-Centric Development

Design solutions that leverage NetSuite as the primary platform, reducing the need for third‑party systems.
Partner with internal stakeholders to convert operational needs into working NetSuite-native functionalities.

Required Qualifications

3–5 years hands-on NetSuite development experience with SuiteScript, SuiteBuilder, and JavaScript.
Proven ability to deliver independently without extensive oversight.
Strong experience with:
- Custom records/fields/forms
- Workflows and automation
- RESTlets and REST APIs
Comfortable working with Jira to manage tasks, sprints, and Agile workflows.
GitHub for version control and collaboration
Conversational English skills is a must.

Valuable Complementary Skills

Experience integrating TMS/WMS logistics tools with NetSuite.
Experience configuring and customizing NetSuite Web Store (SCA)
SuiteCloud Developer or Administrator certifications.
SuiteFlow proficiency for workflow-driven automation.
Familiarity with governance optimization and scalable scripting architecture.

Enjoys building everything inside NetSuite rather than relying on external tools.
Has strong communication skills and can translate business requirements into stable NetSuite solutions.
Thrives in a role with broad responsibility across ERP + Webstore functionalities.
Produces clean, maintainable, well-documented code and configurations.
Is comfortable working within an international team alongside colleagues from other subsidiaries of the company.
